DIVIDE AND RULE!

Divide and Rule was the norm of the British,
That was something Indian freedom struggle did not wish,
Yet people want to shout with din,
With violence they think they will surely win!

United we stand but divided we fall,
But still we find people standing tall,
'Bandh' is what they happily call,
With protests and damages they lay there stall.

In the limelight of insanity,
People have lost what is called Humanity.
With Power comes responsibility,
But our politicians lack this ability.

Its not just the dividing of states,
Its the dividing of power, resources and ways,
I am still looking for a hopeful ray,
With differences many, one can hardly look for a peaceful day.--
